Southeastern Systema Camp


This multi-state retreat is located in a remote, camp setting and holds a specific focus for training in rural environments. The purpose of the event is, “to build the Systema community up and develop it by cooperation not division.”

Main Topics:

  • Groundwork

  • Movement on uneven terrain and in woods

  • Aspects of striking

  • Stickwork

  • Essentials of Systema massage, injury prevention, and health practices

    Attending Instructors will include:

    Misha Karlov, Patrick Washburn, Lloyd Robrecht (Virginia)
    Andrey Patenko (Pennsylvania);

    Roy Hatcher, Bill Parravano, and Glenn Murphy (North Carolina)

    Previous Systema experience is recommended for this event.
    Friday evening is open grill. Meals will be provided both Saturday and Sunday.

    There will not be childcare available and we ask that participating children be AT LEAST 12 years of age with a waiver signed by the parents or legal guardians.

    As a condition of the property use, no animals can be brought onto the farm (yes, even though it's a farm). $40.00 per person. Deadline is 4/25/16. No Refunds after 5/3/16.

    Please bring training knives.
